Founded in 1985, Space International is an importer, distributor and after-sales organisation specialising in built-in appliances for the fitted kitchen. Head office and central warehouse in Riyadh; supply partners in Italy, Europe and China.

Who we are
Space International began in 1985 as a family-run import business bringing European kitchen appliances into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at a time when fitted kitchens were still a rarity outside the largest villas. As Saudi housing modernised and the built-in kitchen became standard in apartments, compounds and private homes, the company followed that demand and progressively specialised in the built-in segment.
Today the company operates as a complete in-market organisation for the manufacturers it represents. That means we do not simply place orders and resell: we register products with the Saudi authorities, hold committed stock in our Riyadh warehouse, sell through kitchen studios, appliance retailers and project developers, install the appliances in the customer's kitchen and service them for their working life with genuine spare parts.
Our commercial team works in English, Arabic, Italian and Chinese, and our buyers travel regularly to the manufacturing regions we source from. We attend EuroCucina in Milan, IFA in Berlin and the Canton Fair in Guangzhou every cycle, and we welcome supplier visits to Riyadh throughout the year.
What we look for in a product
We are selective by design. A product joins our range when it is built for the Gulf — not adapted after the fact — and when its manufacturer is prepared to support the market with training, technical documentation and spare-parts availability. The checklist is practical:
- 220–240 V / 60 Hz electrical design with the correct plug and cable standards.
- Tropical (T or ST) climate class for refrigeration; high-ambient-temperature testing for cooking appliances.
- Gas appliances configured for regional LPG pressure and supplied with GSO-compliant valves and conversion kits.
- Arabic and English user manuals, rating plates and packaging.
- Valid IECEE CB reports and a route to SASO / SABER certification and the GSO G-mark where applicable.
- A spare-parts policy of at least ten years and technical training for our service team.
